The Orlando Department of Travel and Tourism , better known as the Orlando Convention and Visitors Bureau was started in 1983 as a non-profit representing all of the businesses in the Orlando and Orange County travel and tourism industry. There are more than 1,450 private businesses that are members. Orlando is a leading travel destination featuring world-class attractions, theme parks and restaurants.
